Amani al-Ittre has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On the occasion of the appointment, a meeting took place with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Ambassador presented copies of her credentials to Abdulaziz Kamilov.
The two sides discussed topical issues in the Uzbek-Egyptian cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats. Special attention was paid to the promising areas of interaction in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Participants of the meeting noted there is mutual interest in expanding the normative base of relations and in the exchange of experience in tourism development.
