Website of the Kyrgyz news agency AKIpress published an article "Education system of Uzbekistan has proven its effectiveness".

It notes that education system, which was established in Uzbekistan to meet the requirements of time and high standards, has opened tremendous opportunity for the young generation of the country to realize their potential, and proven its effectiveness, has provided training of highly professional staff.

The agency informs that today in Uzbekistan in 1556 created a new type of educational institutions, including 144 academic lyceums and 1412 professional colleges, as well as 30 branches of professional colleges in remote areas of the countryside.

Since independence, introduced two-tier system of higher education consists of undergraduate and graduate programs, approved by the qualifier of directions and specialties of education Magistrates, each of which are developed and put into practice the state educational standards.

It is stated that the country is held annually in the Republican Olympiad on general subjects among pupils of secondary specialized educational institutions, the winners of which are entitled to enroll in higher education institutions, without of tests and examinations.

— During the period of 2000-2014, 220 students of secondary schools and secondary specialized educational institutions of Uzbekistan participated in the international Olympiads and won 6 gold, 28 silver and 65 bronze medals and 40 diplomas. In 2014, 122 countries gifted child won prizes at international music competitions held in Italy, France, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Serbia, Latvia, Bulgaria, Russia, Belarus, Romania and other countries, - Kyrgyz news agency says.
