CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW TERMINAL AT THE AIRPORT "TASHKENT"

Next year, major metropolitan Air Harbor - airport "Tashkent" await major changes, "Uzbektourism" reported.

There will start construction of a new international passenger terminal, which is comparable in terms of equipment and layout with leading European counterparts.

National Airline "Uzbekistan Airways" is holding talks with a number of foreign companies on the development of a feasibility study of the project worth over 312 million USD.

It is planned that the new terminal will be able to serve 1,5 thousand passengers per hour. For comparison, the same passenger traffic passes through the international terminal "C" of the largest Russian airport "Sheremetyevo".
The new terminal will be called "Tashkent-4".
