Chinese company to build warehouses of the highest category in Uzbekistan

Acting Chairman of the Board of Uztemiryulcontainer JSC Akmal Kamalov met with the Manager at Shenzhen Neptune Logistics Co. Ltd. Nancy Tang.

The parties discussed the development of international transport corridors and improving the quality of logistics services.

Nancy Tang noted that favorable conditions have been created in Uzbekistan for the work of Chinese companies. The foreign company’s management plans to invest about $10-15 million in constructing a transport and logistics center in Uzbekistan.

The parties also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation on the joint use of logistics centers of Uztemiryulcontainer JSC, prospects for creating new logistics centers, and the joint use of wagons and containers. Proposals were made to create modern A+ warehouses in Uzbekistan to provide distribution services. Such premises meet the highest requirements of the warehouse management. Issues of cooperation in the implementation of container transportation from the provinces of Xi’an, Chengdu, and Shenzhen along China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan multimodal route, along existing transport corridors to Türkiye and European countries, were also discussed.
