Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Viktor Evtukhov:

— Mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of light industry consistently develops between Russia and Uzbekistan. To this end, our countries have all the necessary resources - raw materials, the latest technology.

Uzbekistan produces very high quality raw cotton, cotton fiber and silk, used modern technologies and equipment in enterprises of the republic allowed to significantly expand the range of fabrics produced from cotton for the previous period. As a result, in the exhibitions conducted abroad, including Russia, we see a competitive and in demand for the products of the market.

In October we plan to participate in the International Cotton and Textile Fair in Tashkent. We believe that the major Russian businessmen who will be a part of our delegation will be able to establish new contacts with Uzbek colleagues. This in turn will enhance the cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in this area.

President of JSC "Roslegprom" (Russia), Alexander Kruglik:

— With great pleasure we have participated in the opening ceremony of the beautiful national stand of Uzbekistan, around which was really a lot of people and it was possible to observe a genuine interest in the visitors for the presented products under the brand Made in Uzbekistan.

At the same time an interesting and useful presentation for consumers has been successfully conducted which demonstrated the potential of textile and light industry of the republic. Therefore, the day of the show can safely be called a "day of Uzbekistan".

The first thing that catches the eye on the stand of Uzbekistan is very high quality, modern and truly competitive products. I am convinced that the fabric, used for the production of products, meets the highest standards.

I want to note that Uzbek entrepreneurs are adequately presented the production, and they certainly will find its buyers.

Director General PROfashion Consulting Agency (Russia), a leading expert of the fashion industry, a member of the jury of the contest "Fashion Russia" Andrei Burmatikov:

— Each nation seeks its identity, artistic form of expression. Despite all the difficulties in the fashion show of the cultural code of the country, the Uzbek designers have managed to find the deep, penetrating and highly artistic way of expression of the Uzbek national identity. They were distinguished by a very subtle approach to work with the design of the costumes, and unusually sophisticated palette of light and aesthetic products.

— It nicely pleased that the representatives of Uzbekistan have organized a bright stand, which consisted of a large number of interesting products and information about the latest technologies embedded in the country.

Great steps have been made in the development and modernization of production in Uzbekistan in order to meet customer needs. Moreover, the production technology allows to constantly offer new types of products.
