On October 18, 2016, in Tashkent, the 43rd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is starting its work.
Representatives of over 50 Member Countries, as well as observer States, a number of international and regional organizations are participating in the event.
The Tashkent session will be the official start of chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC until the next meeting of the Council in 2017.
The motto of the Uzbek presidency – “The education and enlightenment – path to peace and creativity”.
